How to request deletion of your account
There is no delete button inside the Xavio application today. We say so plainly rather than describing a screen that does not exist. Accounts in Xavio are created and administered by the company you work for, so there are two paths:
Signing out of the mobile application withdraws that device's token immediately, on the phone and on the server. That stops the access; it does not delete the account.
What is deleted
Your user profile, the email address and name on it, the password hash, the two-step authentication settings, your preferences, your open web sessions and the tokens of your phones.
What stays with the company, and why
The business documents belong to the company that uses Xavio, not to the person who typed them: invoices, offers, receipts, stock movements and accounting entries remain in its records — including your name as the author — for as long as its legal, tax and accounting obligations require. The audit log keeps the trace of who did what, for the same reason.
Deleting your account does not and must not erase an issued invoice.
Deleting an entire company workspace
The owner of a company can delete the whole workspace, with everything in it, from Settings → General → Organisation. The path is deliberately strict — only the owner, only when no other user is attached to the company, and with repeated confirmation — because it cannot be undone.
Backups
A deletion takes effect in the live database immediately. Backups made before it still contain the data and roll off on their own schedule: 7 daily, 4 weekly and 6 monthly copies, so within six months at the latest. We do not reach into a backup to delete one record, because that would mean rewriting an encrypted copy whose only job is to be a faithful snapshot.
Before you send the request
Say which application and which company, and write from the email address of the account. Never send your password. We never ask for it.
